A letter to the Ministry of Education means to make the grade of teachers the same as civil servants

The government has advanced the process of maintaining the grade and dignity of teachers. Writing to the Ministry of Finance today, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has asked teachers to provide the maximum number of grades like civil servants of the same level.

In the letter, it is said that ‘on behalf of the negotiation committee formed under the coordination of Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Mr. Narayankaji Shrestha regarding the eighteen point demands put forward by the Nepal Teachers’ Federation through a press release regarding the “Bill to Amend and Unify the Laws on School Education” registered at the Federal Parliament Secretariat. According to the agreement dated 2080÷06÷05 between the Ministry of Technology and the Nepal Teachers’ Federation, point no.
