Gold price is at an all-time high

The price of gold reached a new high in the Nepali market on Friday.

On Thursday, the price of gold increased by Rs 800 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, per tola of printed gold is 1 lakh 13 thousand 300 rupees and acid gold is 1 lakh 12 thousand 750 rupees.

On Thursday, printed gold was traded at Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand 500 and acid gold was traded at Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand 950 per tola. This week alone, the price of gold has increased by 5 thousand rupees per tola. Last Friday, Chapawal gold was traded at Rs 1 lakh 8 thousand 300 and Tazabi gold was traded at Rs 1 lakh 7 thousand 600 per tola.

The price of gold is continuously rising due to the increase in the customs rate of gold by the government. On Friday, the price of silver also increased by 25 rupees to 1,435 rupees per tola. On Thursday, silver was traded at Rs 1,410 with an increase of Rs 15 per tola.
