Decision to give public holidays on Martyr’s Day and Chaite Dashain

The government has extended public holidays by 2 days.     

Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma informed that the Council of Ministers meeting held on Thursday decided to give public holidays on Martyr’s Day and Chaite Dashain.

It has been decided to determine the public holidays and office hours to be given in the year 2081. Office hours are the same as in the past. At the press conference held to announce the decision of the Council of Ministers, Minister Sharma said, “In the public holidays, the holidays of the previous ones have been kept unchanged and the holidays of Martyr’s Day and Chaite Dashain (Ram Navami) have been added on January 16.”
