The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared a public holiday in Kathmandu Valley tomorrow.
The ministry issued a notification today and has given a public holiday in three districts of Kathmandu Valley on the occasion of the procession to show the vows of Red Matsyendranath.
It is said in the notice, ‘On the occasion of the Jatra showing the vote of Red Matsyendranath on Thursday 11th of the year 2080, on the occasion of the Jatra showing the vote of Rato Matsyendranath, it has been decided to give a public holiday in 3 (three) districts of Kathmandu Valley, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned. .’
