Instruction to start admission from first week of Baisakh and study from second week

For the new academic session, the government has instructed to start regular classes from the second week of Baisakh by conducting the student admission and reception program in the first week of Baisakh

. The Education and Human Resource Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology issued a public notice and gave this instruction to all local levels and the Education Development and Coordination Unit.

Since the development center has started selling and distributing new textbooks from 15th of Chaitra, the school has requested to purchase textbooks on time and distribute textbooks to the students enrolled in the new academic session in the first week of Baisakh month.

It is said in the notification, ‘2081 Beisakha first week to conduct student admission and welcome program and from the second week to the middle of Beisakha, regular reading as well as door-to-door programs and other programs are requested to take the initiative of enrolling all the children of the school age group who are out of school.’

The Resource Development Center has asked the schools to make arrangements to enroll parents within their respective service areas by transmitting information through telephone, internet, radio, television and social media.

For the new academic session, the government has adopted the slogan ‘Ensuring participation of all children in school, quality education’.
